She grew up in a small blue collar steel town, Granite City Illinois. Her career in media started in morning radio in 2000 as the assistant producer of the Steve and DC morning show.

From morning radio, to blogging, to social media, to stand up, her personality is a magnet and she draws a crowd everywhere she goes.

She is a lifelong tomboy. Hockey is her favorite sport. She lives in the St Louis area with her 3 teenagers, who she refers to as mini gang members.

When she isn’t making us laugh online you can find her rescuing 3 legged goats from the side of the road, or any other random misfit animals. She has dedicated over 20 years of her life to animal rescue, and fosters over 40 animals every year.
